Hey hey! I’m so excited to team up with you to pull off something that will be absolutely incredible.

 

The Peak Senior Summit is a 4-day online event to help Senior Photographers elevate their creativity and skyrocket sales.


On this page, you’ll find all kinds of resources meant to make your life as a speaker as easy as possible and answer any questions you might have. If you run into a question I didn’t answer, email me at [email protected] or ask over in the PEAK Speaker Facebook group.

HOW IT'LL ALL WORK

Let’s do a quick rundown of how the whole thing will work.

 

The free event will run from January 21st-23rd - 2025, with a kickoff party on the 20th and then about 8 pre-recorded presentations running each day on the 21-23rd with a closing party on the 23rd to end with a bang. These presentations will include 30-45 minutes of content with up to a 1-minute pitch to a free product at the end of your presentation if you have one.

 

 

You don't have to be present on the days of the live summit since your program will be pre-recorded.

 

 

Along with the recorded presentations, there will be a Peak Summit Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, hold each other accountable, and ask all of us additional questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’ll be able to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

 

If you are around the days of the summit, we could do a Facebook Live to help promote your program. A Facebook live is not required, but if you jump in there, your followers would love to hear from you.

 

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

 

While the Peak Senior Summit is a free event, we will be selling the recordings as an upsell, which is called the Peak Power Pack. As the summit is running during the promotion phase, we’ll be promoting the Peak Power Pack. This includes an All-Access Pass for the replays and bonus items from speakers/vendors. This will provide immense value to our attendees while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions. Yay!

WHAT I'LL NEED FROM YOU

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.

1. Basic Information

The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so I can finish up our Registration page and Speakers page.

 

This information includes things like:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Bio
  • Square headshot

 

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2. Presentation Slot (Optional)

While your presentation will be pre-recorded, once your presentation has had time to air, we can jump into the Facebook group for an encore and to answer any great questions that weren’t answered in your presentation. (These Facebook lives will also be added to the Peak Power Pack upsell).

3. Presentation

Next up is your presentation! This is a 30-45 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

 

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

 

With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:

 

  • Slides
  • No slides (just your gorgeous/handsome face)
  • A mixture of the two
  • Demonstration of your topic (Lighting, Photoshop, posing, etc.)

 

  

No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.

 

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

 

  • A quick introduction
  • An overview of your topic
  • Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
  • Teaching section
  • Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
  • Up to a 1-minute pitch for a freebie item if you have one

A few recording tips:

  •  Content is king. Don't worry about fancy editing or super high production. I know as photographers, that can be tough to get over, but great content is better than a flashy edit with no value.
  • If you are doing a shooting/lighting demo, iPhone/smartphone video can give you great results without focus issues.
  • If you are doing a keynote presentation, screen recording software is quick, easy, and gives a great result. For Mac, I use: Screenflow , PC, Camtasia You can also web-based software Loom. Many of them have a free trial, so you don't even have to pay for them. Plus, you can upload any other videos into the software to edit them together. This is much easier to edit than high-end video editing software.
  • Good audio is key. People will get over poor video quality, but bad audio is a deal-breaker. Try and use a decent mic when recording. If you have AirPods, those will be fine. You don't have to invest in a wireless mic. If you plan on doing more of this, a Blue Snowball is a good starter mic, and the Blue Yeti is the higher-end mic.

Presentations are due by November 19th, 2024 so we can build out the pages and start promoting the Summit, and you can get your affiliate bonus :)

4. Presentation Slides (Optional)

Along with each presentation, you have the option of adding your Presentation Slides. There are a few reasons behind this:

  • They encourage people to take action, which increases the value
  • It’s an easy way for viewers to take notes

 

5. Peak Power Pack Contribution (Optional)

The Peak Power Pack will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:

 

  • Templates
  • Actions
  • Workbooks
  • Courses (small)
  • Overlays
  • Guides (makeup/session prep/business)
  • Freebies

 

Do not feel like you need to add a product of enormous value, something under $50 is great. The goal with this is to help with the upsell to give you an opportunity for more commission, not to take away or devalue your products. You are not required to add to the Peak Power Pack upsell. The item must be something of full value, not a discount on a larger product. Discounts for products can be given out during your program.

 

Since my bonus will be a free 1-month subscription to my SU Insiders membership, I ask that no other speakers offer a membership as their bonus time.

 

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

 

Anyone who does contribute a premium resource (aka not something you're giving away for free somewhere else) will get a 30% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 20%.

 

Information for these resources is due on 12/2/24. You'll receive a link to upload your contribution closer to that time to make passing the information nice and simple.

6. Promotion

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

 

Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on1/6/2025. I will promote it to my list a few days before the official launch to test all of the funnels and sales pages. This benefits you so that everything is working correctly when we officially go live.

 

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link to get in on the 20% commission that will come from any Peak Power Pack sales (30% if you've contributed a premium bonus). I will send full details as we get ready to promote the summit on how to sign up for your affiliate link and ways to help you promote the summit to help you with sales.

7. Live Participation (Optional)

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

 

All I ask is that you participate and interact in the Facebook group throughout the week to help attendees stay excited and engaged.

 

While you are not required to attend the events of other speakers, it’s highly encouraged!

 

We’ll be able to get some great discussions going about the topics being presented.

AFFILIATE DETAILS

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s exactly why I’ve set up several ways to earn income as a speaker.

Here's a breakdown of the options for earning money with the summit:

Option 1:
If you submit your presentation on or before 11/19/24 and promote the summit through at least three promotional emails to your email list when the promotion starts on 1/6/2025, you can earn $400. If you don't have an email list, you can still earn money by promoting the summit through three social media posts. The more you post, the more commission you can make. If you choose to add a product to the Peak Power Pack, you must also submit your product by 11/22/24.

Option 2:
If you submit your presentation by 12/2/24. and promote the summit through at least three promotional emails to your email list when the promotion starts on 9/18/23, you can earn $150. Again, if you don't have an email list, you can still earn money by promoting the summit through three social media posts. And just like in option 1, the more you post, the more commission you could make. If you choose to add a product to the Peak Power Pack, you must also submit your product by 12/2/24.

Option 3:
An affiliate program for the Peak Power Pack, where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from the traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by 2/27/25. Last year's top speaker payout was over $2,300...can you top that?!?!

**Please note the bonus money for submitting your presentation on or before 11/19/24! This early deadline will give you ample time to create your presentation before the busy season hits, I suggest jumping on it in ASAP so you aren't rushed last minute. This early deadline gives me time to put together the marketing and sales pages to have a smoother and more profitable launch for everyone. I need all presentations and bonus items in order to start any of the marketing, landing sponsors, setting up the Facebook Ads, editing the videos to include introductions, building the presentation pages for each speaker, etc. Any hold up from just one speaker delays my whole workflow, that is the reason for the incentive to get me your programs on or before 11/19/24. It helps me so much!

 

The commission structure for each attendee that signs up with your affiliate link is as follows:

  • 20% for all speakers
  • 30% for all speakers who include a premium bonus to the Peak Power Pack

I use a software called Content Snare to collect your information for the summit. Please watch your inbox for emails from Content Snare with instructions to upload everything. 

The pricing structure for attendees when they sign up for the summit will be:

  • $97 Fast Action price, 15 minutes after initial registration
  • $147 if they didn't take the fast action price
  • $197 During the Live Summit
  • $397 After the Summit

 These will be the prices you would earn commission on if an attendee uses your affiliate link to sign up.

 

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads. 

 

Just remember to use your affiliate link, which I will let you know how to sign up for as we get closer to promoting.

 

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience and follow the rules of promotion on the platform you are using.

RESOURCE VAULT

Resources are being created, I will let you know when they are ready. They will include:

  • Summit branding information (in case you'd like to show off that you've been featured on your website)
  • To do list with due dates so you can keep track of everything nice and easily
  • Email swipe copy and suggested send dates
