Speaker Information + Resources

Let’s do a quick rundown of how the whole thing will work.

The free event will run from May 10th-11th 2022 with 5 pre-recorded presentations running each day. These presentations will include 30-45 minutes of content with up to a 1-minute pitch to a free product at the end of your presentation if you have one.

You don't have to be present on the days of the live summit since your program will be pre-recorded.

Along with the recorded presentations, there will be a Summit Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, hold each other accountable, and ask all of us additional questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’ll be able to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

If you are around the days of the summit, we could do a Facebook Live to help promote your program. A Facebook live is not required but if you jump in there, your followers would love to hear from you.

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

While the Pixel Summit is a free event, we will be selling the recordings as an upsell which is called the Pixel Power Pack. During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, we’ll be promoting the Pixel Power Pack. This includes an All-Access Pass for the replays and bonus items from speakers/vendors. This will provide immense value to our attendees while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions. Yay!

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.

1. Basic Information

The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so I can finish up our Registration page and Speakers page.

This information includes things like:

• Name
• Title
• Bio
• Square headshot

Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.

2. Presentation Slot (Optional)

While your presentation will be pre-recorded, if you would like to be in the chat live during your time slot to answer questions and connect with attendees, please let me know.

Another option is that once your presentation has had time to air, we can jump into the Facebook group for an encore and to answer any great questions that weren’t answered in your presentation. (These Facebook lives will also be added to the Pixel Power Pack upsell).

3. Presentation

Next up is your presentation! This is a 30-45 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:

• Slides
• No slides (just your gorgeous/handsome face)
• A mixture of the two
• Interview-style with Dan
• Demonstration of your topic (Photoshop, retouching, painting, composites, etc.)

If you’d like to go with the interview-style presentation, schedule a time with me to do that here. We’ll work together to come up with questions to make it easy for you.

No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

• A quick introduction
• An overview of your topic
• Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
• Teaching section
• Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
• Up to a 1-minute pitch for a freebie item if you have one
• Include questions for attendees to answer in the chatbox throughout to boost engagement if you are doing the live chat

Presentations are due by April 18th, 2022 so we can start promoting the Summit and you can get your Affiliate money :)

4. Presentation Slides (Optional)

Along with each presentation, you have the option of adding your Presentation Slides. There are a few reasons behind this:

• They encourage people to take action, which increases the value
• It’s an easy way for viewers to take notes

5. Pixel Power Pack Contribution (Optional)

The Pixel Power Pack will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:

• Templates
• Actions
• Workbooks
• Courses (small)
• 1-month memberships
• Freebies

Do not feel like you need to add a product of huge value, something under $50 is great. The goal with this is to help with the upsell to give you an opportunity for more commission, not to take away or devalue your products. You are not required to add to the Peak Power Pack upsell.

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.

Anyone who does contribute a premium resource (aka not something you're giving away for free somewhere else) will get a 50% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 40%.

Information for these resources is due on April 4th. You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to be nice and simple.

6. Promotion

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on 4/25/22.

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link (which you can set up here) so you can get in on the 40% commission that will come from any Pixel Power Pack sales (50% if you've contributed a premium bonus).

7. Live Participation (Optional)

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

All I ask is that you participate and interact in the Facebook group throughout the week to help attendees stay excited and engaged.

While you are not required to attend the events of other speakers, it’s highly encouraged!

We’ll be able to get some great discussions going about the topics being presented.

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s exactly why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the Pixel Power Pack where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by 6/6/22.

The commission structure is as follows:

• 40% for all speakers
• 50% for all speakers who include a premium bonus 

The pricing structure will be:

Free to attend. Then an offer to purchase the recording as follows:

• $37 for 15 minutes after initial registration (4/25-5/10)
• $97 if they didn't take the fast action price (4/25-5/10)
• $197 from 5/10-5/12
• $297 from 5/13-5/16

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads. 

Just remember to use your affiliate link, which you can create or look up here.

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience and follow the rules of promotion on the platform you are using.

Resources are being created, I will let you know when they are ready. They will include:

• Summit branding information (in case you'd like to show off that you've been featured on your website)
• To do list with due dates so you can keep track of everything nice and easily
• Email swipe copy and suggested send dates
• Social media swipe copy and suggestion posting dates
• Social media graphics
