Dan Frievalt M.Photog, M.Artist, Cr. is a photographer that enjoys blending creative light with graphic design to create artistic images that evoke drama and tell a story. Dan's formal education includes an Associate degree in Marketing Communications and has worked as a Graphic Artist for 12 years before changing his career path to photography in 2005. “I always enjoyed photography but ever since digital capture I have found a new voice in creating images by combining my design background with my eye for photography.”

Dan has been named Wisconsin Professional Photographer and Artist of the Year several times. His studio has also been named one of the Top 100 Studios in the Country by his photography peers. Dan has earned many awards including the Canon Par Excellence Award, Fuji Masterpiece Award, two ASP State Elite awards, PPA Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards, and three Kodak Gallery Awards and has been selected to represent Team USA in the Photographic World Cup.

You’ll see how I use the Meta Ray-Ban glasses to capture authentic behind-the-scenes video during a senior shoot without ever picking up a phone, then pull those clips into CapCut to create a polished reel.
From shooting and posing to editing still images and weaving them together with video, you’ll learn how to turn one session into a social media piece that gets seen.

Bio: Craig Lee is the owner of Craig Lee Studios, a full-service photography and video studio based in Huron, South Dakota. He specializes in high-school senior portraits, brand imagery, and cinematic lighting on location and in studio. Known for clean direction, dramatic off-camera flash, and heirloom-quality print products, Craig designs sessions that feel personal - sports fields, family farms, downtown alleys, and everything in between. Before leaning into seniors, he cut his teeth in video production, which shaped his story-first approach to posing, light, and movement. He’s an active community partner and believes in using his talents to help promote his community, and is active on several boards and committees in Huron. When he’s not chasing golden hour, he’s probably coaching a kiddo, cheering at a hockey rink, or sketching the next lighting diagram - with real client case studies.

Fast forward ten years, he exclusively photographs high school seniors and runs a high-end studio that caters to clients who want to get noticed in their images and want their unique personality to be captured.
